Snowflake Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for a senior Snowflake developer for our NYC and London based financial services client operating in Public/Private Loans, CLOs, and Long/Short Credit. You will play a pivotal role in accomplishing the successful delivery of our strategic initiatives using technologies like Snowflake, Coalesce, and Fivetran.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in Snowflake development.
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake objects – databases, schemas, tables, views, procedures.
- Expertise in Snowflake utilities – Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Stages, Streams, Tasks, Zero Copy Clone, etc.
- Data migration experience from Azure Cloud to Snowflake.
- Experience with Snowpipe for continuous loading/unloading data.
- Skilled in COPY, PUT, LIST, GET, REMOVE commands.
- Batch and bulk loading from Azure.
- Hands-on with Snowflake Roles, Masking Policy, Network Policy.
- ETL development using Coalesce & Fivetran from MS-SQL Server.
- Advanced SQL – queries, triggers, stored procs, TSQL error handling.
- Strong communication & collaboration skills.
- Agile team experience, fast-paced environment adaptability.
- Nice to have: Exposure to hedge funds, private debt/equity.

Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT / Finance / Economics or equivalent.
